The season of giving and gratitude is upon us. And because of that, our STEP scholars want to give you — our donors — an extra special thank you. As they explain, your support enables them to achieve success in school and life.
STEP educates and empowers low-income, first-generation students to enroll in and graduate from college. Because of you, STEP scholars get the guidance, mentorship and resources they need. In addition, our scholars receive advice directly from college admissions counselors, attend summer pre-college programs, and access scholarship opportunities. And of course, some participate in our signature Alaska Leadership Expedition to develop a deeper sense of independence, confidence, and personal responsibility.
