Sponsor a Student’s Alaska Leadership Expedition

Every year, STEP partners with NOLS (National Outdoor Leadership School) to send a group of rising high school seniors to the wilderness of Alaska to test their limits and discover what they’re capable of when they leave their comfort zones. 

The Leadership Expedition helps to build confidence, resilience, and a recognition that students can tackle any challenge if they believe in themselves and work hard, all of which are valuable assets when transitioning to college. 

You can now donate to sponsor one (or many) scholar’s Alaskan Expedition. As a token of gratitude, you’ll receive a thank you letter from the student upon their return home from the trip, as well as a photo from the trip.
